Talk by way of fireflies,
insistant lights
dancing off the water,
flickering stardust
amongst us, with you allowing.
Reach within, feel me
soothing. Release what
controls
and prove you know
what you’re doing.
Moonlit night, high
your command or fancy,
per nature, entrusting.
Biblical; essence of old,
illuminate my soul.
A sublime poem – speaks on the surface but also to the soul. You are rising, Audrey.

This played quite lirically in my head as I reread my words. I enjoyed feeling and sensing this movement in my writing again. Shows healing, for sure. Thank you, my friend.

You’re welcome, John. I was talking sternly and you laughed. Not scared of me, I guess. Giggle.

I dated Redhead in college. So much fun. She finally got tired of having to help me push my car out of parking places since there was no reverse gear. Well she had to push and I had to steer. (hmmm maybe that was the issue) Anyway she would try the old “spooky” behavior stuff and I would just laugh. We did have a fun two years.

Giggle. Something tells me she didn’t mind the pushing. I love a man who can laugh at my feisty behavior. Surely brings out my dimples and smirks. Fun story, John. My college boyfriend lost his brakes on our first date and we were going downhill past campus. I still married him. Guess I liked the sense of adventure at the time. 🙂

How interesting. This car was a 1959 Alpha Romero Guiletta Spyder and the brakes used to go out as well. One time I asked her to open her door and drag her foot at a red light. We did stop, but as I say each of these incidents cost a little. 😀

Drag her foot. Well, it was either that or paying the traffic ticket. Giggling so much. I’d have done it. Cool car!
