drag me through
verdant covered angles
with
leaves thriving, cascading.
allow blossoms to reach
my nose. Inhale the beauty
as life is exposed. Take
me back to where
happiness found me.
guide
my spiritual growth;
renew.
Beautiful, Verdant verse π I love the play you took on the letter X too π I may be forced to do something similar lol. Don’t really feel like typing about a xylophone LOL
You may borrow it, Staci, of course. Use it. π Sorry for the late reply. My professional life has been busy. I think I need a hike. A long one. Hope you’re well.
Audrey, please don’t be sorry. I completely understand that life can get busy. I know mine is sooooooo busy right now. I’m afraid I’m going to have to take another break from the blog. I’m in the middle of a big move, then traveling to the North-east, then returning, only to prepare for our travels to Canada and Peru. So much on my plate.
I hope you went for your hike.
I’m well thanks. Hope you are well too.

I hope the happiness I deserve finds me, my dear, when it’s time it’ll happen.
I’m glad you liked the title, Shari. You know, sometimes it’s eerie how perfect words can fit.
The line of “Inhale the beauty as life is exposed.” is the feeling I have when I step away from the city/work/life and head to the mountain or shores, and see nature and the world for what it really is (and what it can be). A nice thought as I head into the CBD of Hong Kong… π
It has been so long since I’ve been able to step away that I fear I’ll need reminding to do so.. What it can be is what’s longed for, always. Be safe, my friend. β‘

What, or who, is xyst?

‘Tis a garden walk of sorts, planted with trees. Translates well into Roman and Greek architecture. Thanks for asking, Rajiv.

Hm…. I was beginning to hope that it was one of those Greek Sirens, who tried to lure men into exotic places…. π

Maybe she is, Rajiv. I bet she’s worth following, as well. π
