Where did you go
The deep hum, of your voice
Followed me in, but didn’t
Retreat along side of me
When I fled. My expectation
Wasn’t fair, I know.
The work is hard,
Battle even more so.
Are you still fighting,
Does the war continue,
Did strength
Defeat in there?
Soft hands still covering
Fragile heart. Fate leads
a Warrior. Love will win.
Strong.
Wonderful words Audrey, I too believe in the end Love always wins out ~ it may be a battle, many wounds may be receive but in the end, there is simply nowhere else better to be. Also, you ask the question at the start which is perfect, one I often ask myself “Where did you go?”

Thank you, dear Photographer Philosopher Extraordinaire, I believe we’re cut from the same vine. It’s amazing to sit back and think about where we’ve gone and where we are now. I kinda like here and what tomorrow brings. May your weekend bring you inspiration. Hope the hiking went well, as well as the packing. Safe travels, Randall. ♡

Love and the environment are constantly at war. We have to hope love wins.

Constantly! If love doesn’t win in the end where does that leave me? You? Him? Her? We must believe in love. And show it.

There is so much said here with such sparse language. You are the master of that!

This is what happens when a non-talker expresses yourself with poetry. I’m grateful my thoughts are understood.

Its all good. Im sometimes non-verbose…no really, I am…well, not often, to be sure, but on occasion, though not as frequently as some, but I can be quiet..when I put my mind to it… 😉 LOL

Giggles. We could travel together. You can talk and I’ll listen closely, as I ponder out the window, consider the angles of the topography, smell the lilac, wonder who used to roam those hills, think of ways to use roam in a sentence, search for signs of verdant, look for animals and wipe tears from my eyes as another sad song is played on the radio. Change the station! 😉 LOL

My take on fantasy to some degree, Shari. I’m glad it came off as such. I’ve confessed to being bashful many times. The words that resonate with me I find myself within. Thank you for reading along.
