It is great to have this week of calm before travel again, although heading out tomorrow for some time along the Puget Sound…and perhaps a climb on Ellinor too. Nothing like the feeling of making a heart go ‘pitter-patter’ ~ one of the simple and wonderful things in life…so keep the poems coming 🙂

Sadly, I wrote this awhile ago, but this totally works for the warm apple crisp I still have on the stovetop. Those apples were begging to be tossed with brown sugar and oats.
