Asked, ” where does SHE need HIM to be?”
my poetry, as of late, offers questioning.
I don’t know, quite honestly,
I suspect, he knows,
innately.
believing when she is cared for,
love will feel like a drop of dew,
caught,
by a mountain view.
waking a heart from the start,
answering before the questions begin,
functioning on complete trust,
not yesterday’s sins.
HIM will know this heart of hers,
SHE his soulmate,
HIM, the one who understands,
the directions SHE will go, listens.
leading effortlessly, watching ,
with pride,
he already knows,
similar they are inside.
no effort required, mostly,
shouldn’t love be that easy?
HIM and SHE believe in connection
completely,
eternity born from fated opportunity.

For Shari, who asked me, “What about where SHE needs HIM to be?” I hope this is a sufficient answer. My first follower, now a dear friend, I adore you. I appreciate you watching over me. Thanks for offering a chance for me to ponder your question.
She seems set in her ways
He understands
She needs
He agrees

Not to be confused with stubborn, Jay. Just knows she was born this way. Knowing he must have been, too.

Jack Daniels is painful. You, my dear, are not. Keep that in mind. *takes a gulp*

*takes a drink and notes* I may come with instructions. Jack Daniels is self explanatory. JD seems easier to handle. *smirk*

You’re a bad ass, Poet. I bet you chew on tree branches.

Yikes! Knew you were tough, but not that tough, Poet. *looks adoring* You keep a schedule? How handy of you.

I enjoyed your meditation over the question that was posed to you. It feels of two people finding connections and answers together. Which, of course, is a wonderful thing 🙂

Yes, I think those connections are the best. Glad we see life similarly. 🙂

Maybe HIM knows exactly where SHE needs HIM to be, but HIM refused to stop and ask directions for how to get there?

Yes, I believe millions would agree, Chris. Giggle. HIM could be stubborn, and SHE even more.

Nice one. Best to have the HIM and SHE knowing what SHE and HIM expect out of HIM and SHE.

Thanks! Yes, less confusing that way. Communication is best. 🙂

Love is when you look in a mirror and see the best qualities of your beloved.
Or as you wrote so much better:
love will feel like a drop of dew,
caught,
by a mountain view
Lovely, of course, Audrey. BTW: am I really your first follower?? Wow! I am most and truly honored!

Yes, which was part of a poem I wrote not long ago. We should see ourselves in one another.
Glad you enjoyed that line, Shari.
Thank you, my friend. Yes, I am fairly certain you were my very first follower!! Something I’ll never forget.

Okay, did you take the picture first, or did the poem come first?? Regardless, this one’s a keeper!
