I try to find a reason to say the word “verdant” at least once a day. Really. I’m playing off servility and civility in my mind for some reason.

There is an NPR corporate sponsor (environmental of some kind) whose ads say they are dedicated to making a “verdant” world. I hear it everyday. I can’t help but repeating it. As for my stride, this is what I’ve wanted to write, kind of like my Amelia and Jake.
