Hey Audrey. Did you take this photo? It’s awesome. How are ya anyhow?
π
I’m on a brief Hiatus, until my Mom leaves. Thursday I’m off to Rio de Janeiro and next week to Buenos Aires. Ahhhh, life is tough eh. Hehehehehe.

Can't wait to get back to routine, and WP in mid-March.
Blessings.

Hi, Staci! Yes, I took this photo on Valentine’s Day morning here by my house. Thank you, glad you liked it.
I’m doing well, thanks. Hope you’re enjoying your visit with your mom. You’ve been missed, for sure. Take the time with your mother and love on her. It’s so important to do so, but I know you know this to be true.
Umm, can I sneak into your suitcase and come along??? Lucky duck, eh! Come on…you’re killing me. Can’t wait to have you back. Mid-March! My birthday month..
See you then…have fun on your trip!β‘
A beautiful photo matched by beautiful words ~ I like the thought that seeing something magical (like a great sunset) can bring a person closer to everything they desire. Maybe that is the draw we have to such natural splendors π
Surprising me again, Dalo. You run the risk of spoiling me. π Thank you for thinking so, you know, this sunrise over the gulf, just four miles from me, did all the heavy lifting. I took this photo on Valentine’s Day morning. Magical it was and I do think natural splendors have everything to do with bringing me closer to what I desire. Towards, hopes, dreams and fantasies… I hope you’re enjoying your day. β‘
Thank you, Debbie! Very sweet of you to say, and just know that if I could I would send you all that and more. I know it’s freezing where you are… π¦ Supposed to be even colder here tomorrow, as today was in the 50s. Cold for south Texas. Hugs!!!
Thank you! When I was younger, I hated my curls, but I’ve learned to embrace them. Btw, when I was younger, my hair was red, then as I got older, faded to strawberry blonde, then light blonde.
Kathy
Oh, me too, most mornings I still hate my hair. It isn’t easy sticking out like a sore thumb, but now I’m better about owning it. I’ll be thrilled if my hair turns like yours. All the redheads in my family turned silver at a young 40ish…I’m nowhere near silver so maybe I’ll be a redhead longer. We’ll see. My mom dyed her’s blonde…I don’t think I’ll be a blonde. Silver may suit me okay when the time comes…
My older sister who is also a redhead turned blonde then silver. I’m headed toward silver, and will probably go to a light blonde, close to what it is now before many more years pass. Wish I had my flaming red hair back. But about everyone I see with dyed red hair looks so fake.
Totally, dyed redhair does look fake by a certain age. I’m not going to put a number out there, Kathy, because one day I may need to hang on to my denial, if I choose to try and dye it red because I can’t let go one day. π
When my red first started fading, I used a golden-red hair color on it for quite a few years with good results. But when I reached a “certain age”, the color made me look older, so I stopped trying to keep my red locks. Blonde suits me better now. Maybe you’ll be lucky and your red will shine for many years to come. π
Sunsets can make everything appear within reach, Red. π

This red will be around a while longer, I’m sure, but either way the curls make the hair. So shine on, Kathy!! π
