listening for love, dusk performs, beautifully. breeze and briny, matched, perfect, desires plashing. an endless encore, sips, if for once, you kissed me.
The rhythm of the waves match the rhythm of these words ~ “an endless encore, sips, if for once, you kissed me.”
Not a better place to read this poem than in the photo taking it all in ~ π
Dalo, your poetic words take me away and put me in that photo. One day I will gain your trust and you will want to share your poetry with me. I have no doubt. π Thank you for reading my poetry. You have been very busy, my dear.
Oh, stop it! Giggle. You aren’t fooling me with your phone ringing, Sir. However, I am intrigued…I’ve read about him, a little. π π
You’re such a brat!
Methinks its performance was quite perfectly captured in this verse. π
Plashing… hadn’t heard that before. Somehow it sounds more sophisticated than splashing.
Aw. You do? How sweet! Thank you, Luke.
Excuse me as I laugh out loud a minute… *pauses and her tummy shakes a bit* *stops breathing* *dimples burst off her face* *breathes again* *scares the public with her laugh* Yes, my friend, plashing is far superior to splashing!!! Giggle. You are so funny! Tis why I used it, you see. (I was worried someone would think I made a typo…feared actually. Nothing worse than a typo…)
You’re welcome. π I wish I could hear this laugh. It must be magnificent. π A lovely word is plashing. Also reminds me of “smashing”. Nah, you? Make a typo? In a poem?
Sounds a bit like the double mint twins, huh?! Haha… but thank you, my friend. Thanks for the folllow, as well. I appreciate it so much. Means a lot, truly.
“an endless encore”: i love that!

Whose…dang it, phone is ringing, I’ll get back to you! π

No, I’m quite sure my laugh is too loud sometimes. π Plashing…giggle. I have to laugh. Yes, ME! π

But loud laughs are the best kind! Except perhaps giggles. And the kind that breaks out spontaneously for a half hour after something happens funny.

Oh, I do enjoy the coupling of breeze and briny for the first time ever in my life, I do believe, Aud. Unexpected joy for me.

Mmm, me too, Chum. However, now I sorta think they sound like the double mint twins… giggle. Thanks for enjoying this poem, my friend.

I’d chew on the breeze and spit out the brine, Aud. π
