Second chances
Chances she’s willing to take
Take her back, show her love
Love full of trust and guidance
Guidance you offered, intuitively
Intuitively, are the breaths taken
Taken, in the end without you
You are the right man for her

Very cool ~ I learned something new today, and read a great poem from my favorite poet in the process. Not a bad way to start the day (hey, that rhymed!). π

Thanks! I’m always happy to teach you something new, Dalo. Your favorite poet? Ever the flirt…seriously? It’s official, now I’m allowing you to lie to me, as well. Giggle. To think I’m Randall Collis’ favorite poet. Dreamy. Say it is so… π (I knew you were a poet. Come on!)

Hey, maybe I am a poet…I forgot that rhymed π And without a doubt, you are my favorite poet (hmmm, not sure I could name another but don’t let that bother you…ha, ha…actually I have a couple of Bukowski book in HK that I really like, but he is a far second to your work π

You are a poet. Don’t try to fool me, Mr. Poet And Didn’t Know It. π You made my day, thank you. β€ (I'm gonna pretend that you know all poets, Sir. Don't burst my bubble.) Bukowski, I know him, a bit. I'll have to read up on what it is about his work that may inspire you. I couldn't possibly agree with you, but man, does it feel good to believe it. π

A really neat, skipping format… reminded me of skipping stones on the water. One ending is another beginning.

Thank you! You’re right… It does seem a bit like rocks skipping, Gus. I love your thinking on this one. I also love trying to skip rocks. I sorta stink at it. Yes, indeed and I look forward to beginnings more so than endings.

Is this a new form you’ve created, Audrey, or am I just so ignorant of poetic forms in general that I’ve somehow missed seeing its like? Whatever, I love it! The circular nature, each line picking up the last word in the previous line, looping around its message — stunning!

Oh, no, not new at all. Glad you learned of a new form. They’re fun to write and a great thinking exercise. You’re so sweet. Thank you…
