Chances (Loop Poem)

image

Second chances
Chances she’s willing to take
Take her back, show her love
Love full of trust and guidance
Guidance you offered, intuitively
Intuitively, are the breaths taken
Taken, in the end without you
You are the right man for her
Her, being me, always

    • You are a poet. Don’t try to fool me, Mr. Poet And Didn’t Know It. πŸ™‚ You made my day, thank you. ❀ (I'm gonna pretend that you know all poets, Sir. Don't burst my bubble.) Bukowski, I know him, a bit. I'll have to read up on what it is about his work that may inspire you. I couldn't possibly agree with you, but man, does it feel good to believe it. πŸ˜‰

  1. Is this a new form you’ve created, Audrey, or am I just so ignorant of poetic forms in general that I’ve somehow missed seeing its like? Whatever, I love it! The circular nature, each line picking up the last word in the previous line, looping around its message — stunning!
