I see color
Ultramarine sea
I see stark
Slated for make believe
I see growth
Supple from underneath
I see lonesome
Trees relinquish leaves
I see beauty
Fairness, like I’ve never seen
Sigh. Thanks. I was hoping it would be okay. Inappreciate you stopping by and letting me know, Kate. Hope the holidays aren’t stressing you out too much. I’m busy as heck right now. Just trying to finish out the semester with a holiday bang, so I can close up my classroom for a little R & R. Hugs! β‘
I didn’t know how to express what I felt. It shows through…but I’m satisfied with the poem, Chum. I just love the image and maybe felt too contected to it to talk about how view made me feel. Maybe I should have left it alone. Tis fine as she is without a poem. I fear I messed with the simplicity of the picture. Tomorrow’s another day. I shall try again. π …but, thank you, always.
John Flanagan, your continued support is humbling. Thank you for seeing what I don’t see in myself. I am pleased you see the beauty in very few words. You’re the best. β‘xxx
A beautiful, stark beauty to this. I like it.

This one has a different rhythm than your usual work, Aud. It’s quite bold because of it, I think.

Well, at least I got that it was different. π I don’t think you need toy with it. Leave ‘er as is, would be my vote, Aud.

Those desolate trees have a poem to be proud of now.

Yes, and desolate trees deserve noticing, too. Very sweet, Luke. Thank you. Thinking I should go back and bury the poem under that tree.
