It wasn’t your inability to understand,
Would have never bothered me.
It wasn’t your lack of sincere interest,
I believe there’s a Ying to my Yang.
What I couldn’t take above the rest,
Was the complete lack of disrespect.
All I ever needed or wanted from you,
Was to feel like I was alive…
Somebody somewhere just got a poetic backhand complete with a metaphoric, ‘Frankly, I no longer give a damn.’ You must watch the whole ‘Gone with the Wind’ now, Red.

Yep, they sure did, Chum. Yes, I think the movie will be icing on the cake. I can’t wait for the movie, actually. I’m a sucker for Brett’s personality…he’s a flirty fool. Love it.

“I want to thrive, not just survive.”
Just a line this made me think of. I quite like this poem… though I’m not quite sure what to say of it. It’s not one that makes me smile, but it speaks to me, you know what I mean?

Now that is exactly right, Louis. Why, thank you, and I know this poem seems out of character for me. No, it shouldn’t make you smile, but serves as a good reminder to always put effort into making someone feel like what they enjoy matters. Simple act of kindness. Right?
