The beauty of variegated boulders,
And fraile, yet thriving Aspen trees,
Have the ability to center me.
Remind,
Provide clarity,
And inspire,
An often times amoebic lady.
The sprinkling of wild flowers?
Proof that I’m not alone,
So, I allow them to cover me.
I like that different types of nature can soothe you, from the sea’s horizon of your previous poem to the boulders and trees.

Oh yes, by far a place like this, one of my favorites, actually wins hands down, however. I just love the mountains and all it’s possibilities. I like that we share the interest, you know. Wonderful having you stop by, have I mentioned that yet? π

Incredible poem and writing Audrey, “Remind, Provide clarity, And inspire,” can be said of nature and the beauty found there and also of your words… To kick back in the meadow scene of the photo ~ very nice. Cheers!

Once again, thrilled to have your comment, Dalo. Thank you for thinking so…I really am thrilled when my poetry reaches you. Thanks for making me blush, as well. Yes, kicking back here would be an ideal day. Loads to chatter on about, I think. I’ll pack a basket. Lots of tequila, too. π

There really is nothing more beautiful. My best friend’s father used to bring his wife wild flowers from his field. I loved that about him. A good man, indeed. Of course, you do, Rajiv. I expect nothing less, Indian Cowboy. π

You are great company, Duketh. Thank you. This is in Colorado. We’re walking my favorite trail. Well it means a naturey sort of woman. Why is it an interest??

I just love the words lots. And what a nice trail. Now…do you travel with any weapons? I am serious about that!

Thank you, Duketh. It is beautiful. You’d love it there, I think. Never any weapons, which is stupid, I know.

I would. Must be great going on a hike. Goodness! I should send you a ka-bar in the mail.

Yes, good fun. But always go slow because of the altitude. You should…but I’d never know how to use it.
LikeLike
Can you really feel the altitude? Well, it’s an all-purpose knife. You wouldn’t be fighting!

Well, yes! Mr. Warrior tried to go too quickly and got a touch of altitude sickness. If you aren’t used to being up so high you should go slow and take many breaks.
If I wouldn’t be fighting then why would I need the ka-bar in the first place?? Hello!? Tis a fancy butter knife for meat and cheese…
LikeLike
Oh! That’d happen to me probably. What’s altitude sickness like?
It is not! See here, you can do everything with it! Now, you probably wouldn’t be involved in a knife fight…and that’s when one needs some training.

Dehydration, headache, dizzy….fluish symptoms.
So you think I should travel with a weapon just to play with one? I was under the assumption that I needed the knife for protection. Huh…

That’s horrible! Hope Mr. Warrior got over it quickly.
*laughs* It’s always fun to play! But it’s there for protection too…against wild animals, I was thinking.

I was thinking that’s what you meant. I have special powers. I tame animals.
