Wonderful…leaves me wondering did the photo inspire the words or the words the photo ~ or was it just this perfect coming together as both, with none leading the other?
If you can handle me being completely honest, I’d say the photo first, then the words. This is how this particular poem played out…
I took the picture and stared at it and the view in front of me for a time. My mind then begins wondering and usually lands on why I’m writing this poem. Is it for me, family or fantasy. Fantasy usually leads me to crazy true love thoughts, desire, longing and mystery. I relish that thought process awhile and a person usually pops up into my mind. This day I was left wondering if a man of mystery really can exsist. *blushing* π
Yes, so it seems. π Is it so hard to believe that this is for you? Remember me saying that maybe you should stop to consider that some of these poems are for you? Well, there may be a new one around here somewhere…
I hope you approve. I have to amuse myself somehow, Sir. You catch on quick, you know. (I almost used the word clever in this poem. The first line was going to read Waiting for clever you… decided it didn’t describe him well enough. Always find describing the hard part. I adore the word clever.) The clouds have been fantastic lately.
When I was a child, I used to see images in the clouds. Actually, I still do, if I take the time to stop and look. That’s the key eh. Taking the time to stop and look.
π
Hi, John! Thank you so much. Yeah, I call that line The Sneaker…plus it completely calls me out. I love searching the clouds. Its a problem, really. Ha. Thank you for your comment.

And then *poof* I appear π Remember what I said about everyone reading a good poem and believing it is written just for them!
