This poem takes me back to where I was this past week (at the coast with my family) and walking the trails and seeing the forest again…it gives meaning, and a breathe of fresh air/hope. Maybe you knew I was there π
I do hope you enjoyed your visit home, Randall. I’m living vicariously through you and your walk back home. I’m also thrilled that we both had a little of that beauty this summer. I love the idea of me knowing you were there, Dalo. Not such a stretch, in my mind. My poetry does seem to speak to you… π
This trip back has been busy, but also so great to enjoy ~ it’s been an incredible summer! Getting set to go back to the working world (HK) in a couple of weeks, so still a bit more enjoyment to be had. Cheers!
Yes, just as an FYI you’ll be recovering for a bit once you return to HK. We’re both very fortunate to get away, I’d say. Back to the other side of the world so soon… π
