I can’t think of anything better, Gus. Maybe writers come by these feelings/notions naturally. Glad this poem spoke to you and brought a smile. You look at life properly.
Unpacking and putting life back together after a hurricane. Moving in and a hurricane in the same week. Par for the course really. Things are starting to get back to normal. The first Sunday went great. It’s nice to be settled and no longer living out of suitcases.
Richard, I had the same problem when I moved to Texas. Ike showed up days later. Rocked me to the core. Glad all is well and you’ve all settled in. Sundays, in your neck of the woods, will only get better. π
Your photo and poem are sweet songs. You hit upon three notions I find immensely valuable: freedom, togetherness, discovery.

The line Relax into Today makes the tension come out of my shoulders, Aud. Now that’s a great start to a poem.
