Come with me, Darling
Abandon reality for me, please
I’ve something to show you
Bite your lip, no questions allowed
Remember, Baby, it’s me
We both know you love it here
Happy you’re following and I asked
Watch my long legs tiptoe along
Nature’s pathway of wild grass
A secret hideaway found beyond
You’ll know what to do
Take over and lead
I trust you
What a path to follow and accept what will inevitably come along the way… Words and photo, again a great match.

Thank you, Dalo. I think having that mind frame set ahead of time allows us to relax and take whatever comes along.

This is an amazing poem. From my train outside Dublin, it’s given me many analytical avenues for reflection.

Thank you, Richard. I’m humbled by your admission. I’m in awe of the notion that you are on a train, in Dublin, reading my poetry, and in some small way it helps you along your way. The very best of compliments, I’d say. I find it hard not to be envious of your spot in the world today. Safe travels…

You know, Audith, I think a huge snake just slithered its way through there!

Duke!! I actually had nothing on my mind the last few days but of snakes!! I was worried the entire time. I bet you’ve already figured that, however. We would have followed the path just to see where it went. I like a random discovery.
Made the drive to Baby’s house yesterday. Back to Nebraska, different area, no snakes….!

I bet it doesn’t smell like men there! Well, yes we would have had to hunt the snake, you know. Seems to be a fairly large one, too.

No, it definitely smells like girls here…!
*giggling* I cannot imagine running across a snake that size. You’re so funny.

It would be an adventure to speak of for ages to come, dadblameit! I’m sure Mr. Hades–and Oscar–would be up for it.

Yes!! I have no doubt that the three of you would end up on the six o’clock news.

I want to see the pictures!!! *laughing brightly* One holding a katana, one with a plastic katana and the third with a bone katana. Which one is you?

I’d outfit us all alright. Many katanas and all sorts of sharp wicked things. Oscar would have armor.

All sorts of sharp wicked things…hmm. Maybe, he isn’t an Eagle Scout, yet. Oscar would need armor. I hadn’t thought about him being dinner. Ooo, would he look like Darth Vader?
LikeLike
Oscar’s armor would have spikes and it would be shiny. An Eagle Scout? Is he a Cub Scout?
LikeLike
Ooo, he would look amazing. Probably be a prancing Oscar. His first name is Prince, you know. He is a Boy Scout now. He received his Arrow of Light and bridged over a year ago from cub scouts to Boy Scouts.

I beg your pardon! I get all mixed up on the ranks. Princeβ¦a great name, you know.
Oscarβ¦yes, he’d be like a dragon.

It’s fine! I do, too. Makes no sense to me really. I think it is…he is from Chinese royalty, so I figured he should have a royalish name.
You know I’m weak for dragons…

Seriously? That is so neatio! I wish I was a king. The professor is a peasant.
Yes, I know. But you have one!

It’s true! I’m a peasant, as well.
I know, you know. I have the best of all the dragons…

Wellβ¦it’s good to be professorish peasants.
I wouldn’t say Oscar was the best of dragons. Can he breathe fire yet?

No, not Oscar, he isn’t but a baby yet. My dragon *looks around* is much better skilled. He is amazing.

You’ll have to let me meet him then. I’m interested! Together, we’ll vanquish him.

Very wise… wisest. You’ll never guess what movie I watched today, Duke….
Yes!! How To Tame Your Dragon! !!! Why didn’t you force me to watch it sooner? I just loved it. I want Toothless. I need to fly. Arrange it, please. The scores were fantastic, just as you said they would be. Wow. Gorgeous music! Plus, I was mesmerized by all the facial hair. Stoik’s being the best by far. I had to watch part 1 this afternoon, as we were headed out to see part 2 tonight. It was so good….hope you get to see the movie soon.
