Beautiful
White magnolia
Virgin to the light
Found craving the heat
Lost in the strength of leaves
Shining source of simplicity
Finally unfolding her elegance
Sun found waiting patiently
No inhibitions linger
Spreading her petals for him
Knowing she was meant for his arms
A sensual poem to praise a sensual flower.
I think each bloom lasts only one day but the fragrance will linger a bit longer – isn’t it just amazing that such beauty is so fleeting?

I think catching a fleeting beauty is a wonderful thought, Shari.

*sigh* Just getting warmed up, Wolf. Summer’s here and it’s hot by the pool. I like your choice in music.

Lovely. I do like the double meaning you use frequently. And this one was really nice. (Did you delete one of your poems?)

Thank you, Duketh. The spice without the spice, unless you’re spicy enough to find it, why yes. I try.. *smiles*
(I did…I felt hopeless yesterday. I didn’t want that nasty poem on my blog. Sorry to have put you through seeing that…)

The professor is spicy, you know.
(Oh…well, I actually didn’t get to read it! I get the email, then I pull it up, but I deleted it first–which was a mistake. Oh well… *taps foot angrily like the wicked professor would!*)

That you deleted it, I guess.

Do you want me to put it back? I know I shouldn’t have deleted it because it was exactly how I was feeling at the time. I just don’t like myself very much when those words come out. I perfer myself kind, sweet and bubbly. Not broken, sad and lost.

No! That’s fine. I”m just being wicked. The professor completely understands.
