Spotlight temptress
Texas beauty queen
She knows what she’s doing
Ripples of pleasure
From top to bottom
Do you think she finds anything better
Look who’s here, Baby
Summer
And you, her king
Allowing you to look
One day, to touch
Your vase aching
She, just as much
She’s offered you
A place to rest
Velvet petals
Golden glowing toy
Flower of spring
Waiting for her Cowboy
Her summer fling
(By the pool today and it is HOT!! Maybe this is, too. Enjoy…)
Beautifull, greeting from Belgium

The Yellow Rose of Texas…that songs takes me back a few years! We sang this in our elementary choir class… I can say without any bias that your poem captures the feeling so much better. π

Yes! You got it or you or you cheated over someone’s shoulder…hmmm. π It is a great song. An oldie but a goodie, isn’t that the saying? Well, I do aim to entertain a bit higher than sweet elementary thoughts… LOL However, a young group of Pendleton children singing The Yellow Rose of Texas sounds adorable!!

That’s a beautiful shot, and the poem is so interesting. What sort of cowboy, would you say?

Have you heard the song, “Yellow Rose of Texas”? Sort of a play off thatβ¦a bit. Hmm, probably not in the most traditional sense, I’d say.

I have! I like that song. So, not John Wayne?

It’s a catchy little tune for sure. LOL Well, John Wayne is a good cowboy. I give you that, for sure. He wasn’t really a cowboy in the Quiet Man, however. Plus, the name cowboy can be explained as someone who takes risks, is adventerous, tries new things and doesn’t mind getting bucked off.

*laughs* What does a ninja cowboy look like, Duke?

Well, they have a sword, and aren’t as bulky as JW.

JW is bulky? I guess you’re right about that. *laughs* Of course the sword, I knew that already. They run fast and swiftly, too. I bet..
