Torch

You
My light
My lambent love
Wash over me
I’m your devotee
Glowing
Blushing
Already craving
Each morning I pray
Help me rise for you
Please, allow me
Cover me in your glow
Torch me
Waiting

  1. Your poem is blazing, Audrey, and I must go look up lambent after writing this comment.

Getting here late, I read down the other commenters. I feel a little voyeuristic on this one. Odd and interesting. Now. Lambent. On I go.

    • Hi,

Well, thank yourself, first for writing such a wonderful poem in such a manner, even a dick head like can understand the inner meaning of it.

Perhaps, you may have to read your “Who Am I”, again. 🙂

      It’s really beautiful, Dawn. 🙂

      Nice day.

    • Hi…

That may be the best compliment that I’ve ever recieved. I tend to like dick heads. You make things a challenge. I want you to love poetry, too.

You think my about me page needs revision? I do too, actually.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Truly. Have a wonderful day.

    • Hi,

      # You think my about me page needs revision? I do too, actually.

NO there is no need for any revision. What I meant was, there is an answer already written by you, for you need have no doubt about your ability to convey your message, not only to you but to others as well.

There is a vast difference between getting inspired and getting excited; I look for something that inspires me. It was there in your poem. I liked it.

      🙂

      Pleasant day.
