Where are you Do our skies look similar Clouds like pillows Virgin white, soft and welcoming Sliding across the sky Going places I wish I could go With you
I spent my childhood lying on my back watching the pictures in the clouds, always changing. Now I frequently spend my second childhood doing the same thing, only from a seated position. I seem to be more aware of chiggers now.
What a great feeling and release with this poem, and so appropriate this morning as I get ready to fly into the sky (unfortunately via an airport & airplane). Cheers!
How very strange. Maybe it’s the cat kingdom that got the memo and seeing I’m with cats all the time, whoever was delivering the memo, thought me a cat. This is truly mysterious. Huh!
Hi, Michael. I haven’t thought of that song in a million years. Man, that’s a good one. Yes, kinda feeling like that right now. Let’s sing it together, shall we? Do you play the guitar by chance? 🙂 Thank you
🙂 actually I play guitar, piano, bass, and sing and write songs, or used to at least. Nowadays I just sing with my cat Isabelle, but she is such a critic so I told her she is out of the band!! Maybe I should think of auditioning a new singer? LOL
Wow! How cool are you? Poor Isabelle…so you can’t take the heat of her opinion, huh? LOL Maybe you should find a new singer, Michael. Ask Isabelle what she’s looking for, she seems to know what she wants. Ha!
I live close to the Miami shore now. The sky is bigger here than just a few miles inland.

Actually, its French and not my mother tongue; meaning: Didn’t I tell!
Very sorry, but Spanish is outside of my realm. May be, we could try some Latin? – No, no, just joking! 🙂
