Oh! Hello…what are you, friend
How quickly you caught my eye
Who sent you, to grow wildly green
When will you reveal yourself to me
Where have you come from, my dear
Why do I find you irresistible and sexy
Reminds me of a fiddlehead fern. I think they’re only in the Pacific Northwest though. Supposed to tatse … interesting with salmone grilled on a cedar plank. Nice poem and Tribbles Audrey. π
Really? Now that is interesting. I wonder if I’d try them? Thank you, Michael. (Thank you for checking my spelling on that Star Trek creature, as well. I didn’t take the time to check on the spelling. I was in a hurry.)
I would like to say you’re welcome, but I didn’t notice you had misspelled it. I was a Trekkie once upon a time.:-) I think the flavor is supposed to be similar to asparagus, texture too.
Thank you, Michael. I have to admit I have never been much for Star Trek. π I was hoping someone would find the humor in my suggestion. Hmm, I like asparagus.
*smiles* Do you…tell me. That sort of weather is actually my favorite. I love stormy weather. I don’t like the destruction of the hail, but the smell… You know, there really is nothing better than a rain storm in the evening hours. It turns everything green and makes for lovely moments.
Tell me…please. Do you like them a lot? What is your favorite sport to play in the grass? I don’t want rain all the time, Duke! Just when the romance calls for it. Sunny days are best.
Thank you, Richard! I think they’re Trebles from Star Trek, actually. Haha! You know, I hold the power of getting a fox to bend my way, at times. They too, like bacon and black coffee.
I think I have the perfect words in mind, so either today I’ll work on it (I have another one, a rather complex one I am working on today as well) or tomorrow. This thing looks so cool, like a creature from another planet. I think I will take my camera and get some more shots of it from different angles. It is way cool. [GRIN]
Aw, thanks, Audry. That means a lot to me. I have workmen here today putting in windows so my quiet is shattered. Perhaps I will go outside, find a quiet spot and gaze at this baby fern to bring the perfect words to the surface. xx and (((HUGS))) Amy
This put a smile on my face Audrey. So cute and fun, and maybe a little playful.
I love that, “Why do I find you irresistible and sexy”. Great.

Yes, I like the smell tooβ¦butβ¦but the rain dampens the grass! And sports can’t be played. Not that I play anymore. I just like the dry sunny days!

Someone asked what those furry things are. Any idea? I didn’t plant them, nor am I a seasoned gardener.
You should post it, Amy. I’d love to see it. She truly is, my friend. xx
