The Week For Love

The week for love
Souls lost in what to do
The week for love
They may write for you
The week for love
Love believes in truth
The week for love
One could easily love you
The week for love
Prepare your open heart
The week for love
It may come for you

  1. “Souls lost in what to do”

Well if they are lost I could give them some ideas on what to do…I have a pretty vivid imagination (and now I’m sure you’re gonna twist my words and say that I’m implying something nefarious!)

    I enjoyed the poem btw

  2. You got to me, Audrey. Shame on you. πŸ™‚ This is really good. I miss love. Thought there was another chance-my own Romeo and Juliet story (without the death πŸ˜‰ ) but I jumped too soon–after 30 years of us trying between relationships and marriages. Third time is a charm but something went wrong. I miss him…and after several months I talked to him tonight. I’m not liking Valentine’s Day right now and I have no clue why I just wrote all of this. πŸ˜€

    • I’m a romantic (a cold one at the moment)–can’t give up πŸ˜€ . Love is complicated–maybe too much especially when you want to trust again. I wish everyone could find happiness in love but I would rather be happy without than miserable with or to know that I cannot make the other person happy. Good friends are what makes life meaningful. Love? I love everyone in some way. I have got to get out of this thought. Oh dear! πŸ˜€
